Anne turned professional in 1981. She competed for her native country at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. She won four singles titles on the WTA Tour, and reached a career singles high of 23 in the world and her doubles ranking reached as high as 68.
Fed Cup In 1981, Minter made her debut in the Fed Cup, representing Australia for the first time. In 1984, she even led her national team to the final round of the World Group where Australia narrowly lost to Czechoslovakia 2-1.
